Lincoln Property Company Introduces Echo Street West

By Phase 3 on March, 4 2020

Summer 2020

Following the purchase of 18 acres in Atlanta’s West Midtown in December 2019, international real estate firm Lincoln Property Company has unveiled plans for Echo Street West, a mixed-use development set to emerge at the intersection of Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and Northside Drive.

Echo Street West is strategically located near city destinations such as Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Georgia World Congress Center, State Farm Arena, Georgia Tech and the new Bellwood Quarry Park. In late 2019, the Atlanta Beltline and PATH Foundation broke ground on the Westside Connector Trail, which upon opening in summer 2020, will connect many of these venues – and has already driven new investments in the emerging West Midtown market. The Westside Connector Trail will pass directly through the Echo Street West development, providing easy access to the Westside’s activity centers and mirroring how the Beltline Eastside Trail connects Krog Street Market, Ponce City Market and Piedmont Park. Echo Street West stands to become a vibrant, connecting destination, focused on culture, community and the creation of a gathering place for explorers, thinkers and doers.

The Lincoln Property Company team has hired Los Angeles based multi-disciplinary design firm Rios Clementi Hale (RCH) Studios to bring the initial vision for Echo Street West to life. The design envisions a new Westside mixed-use district inspired by the industrial fabric and landscape along the former CSX Railroad “Kudzu Line” that ran through the site.

As part of a multi-phase project, the initial development will unveil a series of interconnected offices, workshops, businesses and homes which scales to approximately 285,000 square feet of creative office space, 50,000 square feet of commercial space and 290 multi-family units. Future phases will bring additional office, retail, residential and hotel components to the site.

Echo Street West’s initial Phase I is projected to break ground in the summer 2020. Renderings can be viewed here. For more information on Echo Street West, visit
