Fifth Group Restaurants has launched a silent auction to raise money for a newly created Fifth Group Family Fund, which benefits the company’s employees during the coronavirus pandemic. The acclaimed restaurant group has also started serving takeout at four popular locations.
Fifth Group’s auction features 25 one-of-a-kind packages and invaluable items ranging from a Cinco de Mayo party at Alma Cocina Buckhead for 75 people to a signed guitar from Jon Bon Jovi. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Fifth Group FamilyFund, and bidding will take place until April 12 at 11:59 p.m. Read more about all the items up for grabs and the stipulations here.
La Tavola, South City Kitchen Midtown, The Original El Taco and Alma Cocina Buckhead will offer special takeout menus featuring family style options and a la carte items nightly from 5 to 8 p.m. Highlights include La Tavola’s take and bake bolognese lasagna, El Taco’s smoked chicken taco platter and South City Kitchen’s fried chicken feast. Auction proceeds, to go order tips and direct donations to a GoFundMe will go toward the Fifth Group Family Fund. Money from to go orders and gift card purchases (available here) will be used to support the restaurants when they’re able to open back up to full service.
