No Kid Hungry Launches Text Hotline for Emergency Food Distribution Sites

With schools closed across the country, kids who rely on school meals are at risk of going hungry. No Kid Hungry has launched a texting hotline to let parents know about emergency food distribution sites in their neighborhoods. If you or someone you know is in need, text FOOD or COMIDA to 877-877.

Right now, the service is active in Alabama, Colorado, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York City (not statewide), North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, and Virginia.
